It's been a crazy week to say the least!  Here is what my favorites are this week:

1.  SPENDING SOME MUCH NEEDED QUALITY TIME WITH MY BESTIE.  I SURE HAVE MISSED THIS GIRL!  IT WAS GREAT TO CATCH UP.

2.  WE HAD OUR FIRST FAMILY PICTURES MADE WEDNESDAY NIGHT!  MY BOYS DID AMAZING!  I WAS SO RELIEVED AND SO PROUD OF THOSE GUYS!  I WAS TOTALLY STOKED TO HAVE MY DEAR FRIEND, THE INSANELY TALENTED NERISSA SPARKMAN BE THE ONE TAKING OUR PICTURES.  HER WORK IS AMAZING!  I CAN'T WAIT TO HAVE THE PICS IN HAND AND I'LL BE SHOWING THEM OFF ON MY BLOG!  IT WAS A GREAT SHOOT!
LOVE YA NERISSA! (yes that is really her in the pic!)

3.  CLOUDS!

4.  BEING ABLE TO CELEBRATE THE BIRTHDAY OF A DEAR FRIEND OF MINE.  HAVING SOMEONE WHO IS A TRUE FRIEND AND SOMEONE WHO GETS YOU AND VALUES YOUR FRIENDSHIP IS SUCH A BLESSING!  I MUST SAY I LOVE THIS CHIC!  SO GLAD I WAS ABLE TO ENJOY HER BIRTHDAY WITH HER!

5.  ALL THE WONDERFUL MEN IN MY LIFE...I LOVE THEM ALL MILLIONS!

It was a great week.  Unfortunately, my poor little Landon woke up so sick this morning.  After MD calls that ended with a trip to urgent care, xrays, strep tests and more....he was given a diagnosis of strep, ear infection and a bad cough with a prescription of bubble gum medicine aka amoxil.  He happens to hate the thick pink stuff while his brothers were begging for it!  LOL  The sweet guy didn't speak a single word today because his throat hurt so bad.  Landon and I developed our own little sign language.  When he would look up at me and smile his little sickly smile and then nuzzle up against me...I just wanted to make all the sick go away.  I HATE that he is sick but I LOVE that he wanted nothing except to cuddle with mommy all day and drink sprite zero!  I am praying he feels better tomorrow!

I also have a GREAT bonus for my Friday Favorite lists today.  I know, I know.....my Friday Faves are usually just 5 but today is so great I think it is appropriate to add a bonus.  A childhood friend of mine went through brain surgery this week and although she is in a lot of pain, her surgery was a success.  Please pray for this wonderful gal and for her continued healing over the next 6-8 weeks!  I have NO DOUBT God will be by her side.
GET WELL SOON KELLY!!!

IT'S BEEN A WHILE.....

It seems like my life has become so busy lately.  Right after we moved in with my brother, his kids came up and were here for 11 days.  It was super great to see them for such a long stretch of time but also it was super hectic!  5 kids in the house 24/7 keeps you insanely busy at all times!  My twins are going to be 5 in a few weeks.  Caden is 3 1/2.  Kayleigh (my niece) will be 3 in November.  Eli (my nephew) is 1 1/2.  And then my step nephew Jake (age 5)  was here 2 weekends in a row as well.  C-R-A-Z-Y is the best word to describe the chaos that takes place in this house when EVERYONE is present and acounted for!  As tiring and busy as it is though...I wouldn't trade a second!  I LOVE all the kids and I am so thankful for all the time we get to be a BIG HAPPY family (mostly happy anyway...you know how kids are!)

This past weekend was such a great one!  We spent Saturday with my parents, grandparents and Aunt TeTe at the Finchville Fall Festival.  We have been going every year since all the kids came along and even before then.  It's such a great time!  My family looks forward to it every year!

The morning started off a little cold and rainy but that didn't stop the parade. All these kiddos were thrilled to watch and chase after all the candy! Then it was off to the HUGE bouncy houses/slides/courses for the kids.  All of our kids were in heaven!!!  Even Baby Eli was all about the bouncy houses and slide!  FEARLESS!

There was a cute little train ride for kids of all ages!  I think these kiddos rode about 8 times!  LOL

We ate great food.  Attended the auction.  And that evening enjoyed the music of NEW BREED.

BIG FUN IN A SMALL TOWN.....LOVE FINCHVILLE!

CONGRATS TO MY WONDERFUL, AMAZING, TERRIFIC FRIEND BEVERLY ON HER 3RD PLACE FINISH IN THE SKILLET THROWING CONTEST!  (Yes you read that correctly.  We REALLY do have a skillet toss out here in the country!)

Saturday we also headed out to Taylorsville for a family reunion.  It was so great to see some wonderful faces I hadn't seen in some time! I would have gotten pics but most of my family members hate their pics being taken!  LOL  So great to see everyone though!

SUNDAY BUBBY HEADED TO LEXINGTON TO TAKE HIS KIDDOS TO THEIR MOM (THAT STORY IS FOR ANOTHER BLOG ENTRY) WHILE JOE AND I TOOK THE KIDS AND  HEADED BACK TO FINCHVILLE.  AARON CAME DOWN LATER AND WE SPENT SOME TIME AT THE FESTIVAL THEN IT WAS ALL ABOUT THE 4 WHEELIN'!!!!

Yesterday and today were about catching up laundry and chores around the house.  Laundry for 9 is no joke!

IT'S BEEN A FANTASTIC WEEKEND.....I HATED TO SEE IT TO END.  I LOVE MY FRIENDS AND MY FAMILY AND I COULDN'T BE HAPPIER!
