FOUR DAYS OF HALLOWEEN FUN

I can honestly say that I have never celebrated 4 days of Halloween ..... until this year!  Friday night we went to a Trunk Or Treat at Grafenburg Baptist Church.  All 10 of us went:  Joe, myself, Aaron, mom and dad, Landon, Andrew, Caden, Kayleigh and Eli.  We got the kiddos stocked up on candy and had WONDERFUL soup, chili and hot dogs.  The kids were so excited to FINALLY get to wear their costumes!  Except for little Eli...he was not having that monkey hat!

Saturday all 10 of us loaded up once again and this time we headed to Hillcrest Avenue in Louisville.  I had heard over the years how great it was and so we all decided to try it out.  The weather was great for a stroll around Hillcrest Avenue to see the Halloween decor. And let me say...IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT!  I can not put into words how amazing it actually was and pictures just don't do it justice!  There were SO many houses all decorated up for Halloween and some of the decorations probably cost more than we make in a year!  It was totally amazing and oh so much fun!  Our kids were in heaven!  Joe and Aaron dressed up and scared just about everyone!  They had people screaming, running away, crying and plain freaking out!  They can scare people like nobody's business!  It was GREAT!

These 3 pics were Joe and my brother!  SCARY!

SOME SIGHTS FROM HILLCREST AVENUE

This was a person dressed up and Kayleigh went right up to them and gave them a high five!  That girl is truly fearless!

HILLCREST AVENUE - 2 THUMBS UP!

Sunday morning we were off to church.  Sunday evening all 10 of us loaded up once again and this time headed to Finchville Baptist, the church I grew up in, and hung out with Aunt TeTe, Granny and Grandad for the church Halloween party/trunk or treat.  It was super fun as always!  The kids were on a major sugar high after the candy, cookies and cotton candy! How do you wind down.....a dip in the hot tub of course!

Monday my niece and nephew had to go back to Corbin with their mom.  So the 6 of us here at home went to Shelby Christian Church, First Baptist Church and our own neighborhood...all in 2 hours! I didn't get any pictures because I was just tired and after 4 days of Halloween...I was about over it!  It was all a great time and we made some more great memories!  I LOVE that and I am so thankful we all got to be together so much!  I am totally amazed at how much candy 3 little boys can get on Halloween and mommy is trying her best to keep my hands out of it....except for the milk duds....HEY!  I'm human!

Hope you all had a very safe and fun Halloween!  I know we sure did!
